The sloping site and narrow access roads through this residential locality were challenging, but the design overcomes this by utilising the height difference between the road and within the site positively, to create multiple split-levels that act as outdoor seating areas/ buffer zones between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The result is that the residents get very good privacy even in the outdoor spaces, providing a sense of security as well as a peaceful escape from the street outside.
